We Work Well First Virtual Event a Success

Charleston, SC (June 10, 2020): We Work Well Inc, recently completed their inaugural virtual hosted buyer event with great success. As COVID-19 continues to affect the events industry, this new alternative platform takes the We Work Well concept online, connecting spa and wellness suppliers with key decision makers from high volume luxury spas, through scheduled one-on-one meetings, education, and networking.

Founders Monica Helmstetter and Lucy Hugo were able to develop an effective virtual solution to produce this first of its kind event, as the industry has been at a standstill for the past 3 months. Both buyers and sellers professed that the user-friendly technology worked seamlessly, saying they were happy to be back at work and feeling productive, shared supplier Revitalash Cosmetics, “the event left me energized and hopeful for the future of the wellness industry. Whether you are a buyer or a supplier, you will leave this event with a feeling of purpose.”

Helmstetter noted, “we have used the challenges presented by the pandemic to further expand our platform and create a healthy event alternative. We were able to run almost 200 one-on-one meetings between suppliers and buyers who had indicated shared interests.” Buyer Vicki Bernstein of Houstonian Resort & Spa commented that the vendors she met with were “informative, high caliber and relatable,” adding that “we were able to effectively cover a lot of ground within our time frame.” Designed to replicate the feel of a live We Work Well event to the extent possible, the agenda also included stretch breaks, a 75-minute live-streamed roundtable discussion, and a closing meditation, mixed in with the business meetings, all from the comfort of a home office.

We Work Well are thrilled with the positive feedback, 100% of attendees surveyed said that the conference had exceeded their expectations and that they would recommend this platform in the future. Helmstetter and Hugo know that virtual events can never replicate the authentic face-to-face connection of a live We Work Well event, but they are excited that We Work Well Virtual can continue their mission of connecting suppliers and decision makers.
