Charleston, SC (October 27, 2021): We Work Well Inc, the global premier hosted buyer event company, today announced the launch of two new events, W3Hospitality EMEA and W3Fit EMEA. Building on the success of We Work Well in the spa and wellness market, this new phase of growth expands their hosted buyer meeting concept into the adjacent hospitality and fitness sectors.
When launching We Work Well in 2019, founders Monica Helmstetter and Lucy Hugo were conscious of creating an event platform able to adapt to the evolving needs of any vertical it entered. “We’ve been mindful of the unique needs of hospitality and fitness professionals in conceptualizing W3Fit and W3Hospitality, and have adjusted our proven framework for each event,” says Helmstetter. Like the company’s well received spa and wellness events, each will include two days of prescheduled one-on-one meetings with high level executives, interactive education, and networking activities. However, says Hugo “the most unique aspect of what we do is the integration of wellness into the event experience. We’ve shown that this, more than anything, allows industry leaders to cultivate stronger business relationships in more meaningful ways than with other meeting formats.”
And it’s this integration of wellness into the event experience that has been critical to the company’s success. “We saw an opportunity to address the changing needs of professionals across all industries,” reflects Helmstetter, “business objectives have not shifted, but both buyers and suppliers have placed new emphasis on how and why they travel for work.” As corporate travel resumes, Helmstetter and Hugo know that their events’ wellness focus will only continue to set them apart. And the prospect of incorporating this concept to fitness and hospitality hosted buyer events was what spurred their development of W3Fit and W3Hospitality.
Helmstetter and Hugo are thrilled to add David Zarb-Jenkins, who is based in Europe, to support this expansion as co-founder of W3Fit EMEA and W3Hospitality EMEA. Zarb-Jenkins previously Event Director at Questex Media Group responsible for the delivery of SIBEC UK, SIBEC Europe, HOTEC Europe and HOTEC Middle East, brings over two decades of industry knowledge and experience in the fitness, hospitality, and hosted-buyer sectors. Based in Europe, says Zarb-Jenkins, “I am delighted to partner with We Work Well to launch premium hospitality and fitness events for the EMEA region.
