Announcing We Work Well EMEA
On September 2, 2020 We Work Well announced the launch of We Work Well EMEA. This new phase of growth expands their already successful virtual meeting platform to Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Monica Helmstetter and Lucy Hugo, founders of We Work Well were both born and raised in Europe and understand the complexity of these regions and their differences from the North American market, but believe the We Work Well Virtual model is uniquely able to adapt to each market it enters.“Hearing feedback from our customers in Europe and the Middle East,” says Helmstetter “and with travel restrictions continuing to hinder conferences and tradeshows worldwide, it made sense to broaden our reach and create new opportunities for the global spa community at this time.” “We cannot presume a one-size-fits-all approach will work,” says Hugo “in building our virtual platform from the ground up, we were conscious of creating a model adaptable to the evolving needs, of every market we enter, both now and into the future.”
To support this expansion, the We Work Well team has grown to include Stephen Pace-Bonello as Event Director of We Work Well EMEA. Based in Malta, Pace-Bonello was most recently Event Director for SPATEC Europe and Middle East, and brings over fifteen years of experience in the spa, hospitality and hosted-buyer sectors. Says Pace-Bonello, “I am thrilled to join the dynamic We Work Well team and look forward to bringing its energy and winning formula to the EMEA region.”
The first We Work Well EMEA event will take place on February 4, 2021.
100% of Attendees Recommend We Work Well Virtual
In response to the pandemic, We Work Well took its concept online in April 2020. Using its custom built web-based We Work Well Virtual meeting platform, spa and wellness suppliers are connected with key decision makers from high volume luxury spas, through LIVE scheduled one-on-one meetings, education, and networking.
Since its successful launch in North America, We Work Well Virtual has hosted over 350 pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings during its June and August events. 95% of surveyed attendees indicated they are likely to book business as a result of their meetings and 100% would recommend attending the event.
“The We Work Well platform worked virtually just as well, if not better than in-person vendor events. Being able to sit in one place and navigate from meeting to the meeting was extremely convenient, provided far fewer distractions, and the vendors and I were able to communicate efficiently. Many of the vendors will be presenting to our Directors in the future.” Catherine Warren, Vice President, WTS International.
Don’t Miss We Work Well Virtual, November 2, 2020.
